Kirsten Dabekaussen

Based in Groningen, Kirsten has been involved in the PP&CC research group since 2017, alongside her basic medical training at the UMCG in Groningen. She managed to secure an MD PhD scholarship and has since combined her Master of Medicine with a PhD track.

Her research focuses on the role of attitudes and behaviors of healthcare professionals in light of quality and safety of care. In doing so, she hopes to contribute to the self-regulatory capacity of healthcare professionals and shed new light on approaches to safety issues in healthcare.
