Milou Silkens

Milou is a Health Scientist and a member of the Professional Performance research group since 2013. In 2018 she successfully defended her thesis titled ‘New Perspective on learning climates in postgraduate medical education’.

Milou currently co-supervises three PhD candidates: Maarten Debets, Iris Jansen, and Rosa Bogerd. She also continues her own research into the learning climate in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education, patient safety, and the wellbeing and mental health of medical students and doctors. Milou currently works as a Research Fellow for the Research Department of Medical Education, University College London.
